A very special parcel arrived at my home today!
I cannot tell you how thrilled, and emotional (!) I felt when trying it on for the first time. I hadn’t told my husband that I had ordered a jacket for myself and when he saw me wearing it, he thought how professional and fantastic it looks!
I admit it is a little tight, but no doubt it will give in due course. I must advise the local seamstress who measured me in the first place how pleased I am with it, and with her very important contribution to it.
However, I understand from my Commander that I should have 2 crosses on each cuff to signify DLJ rank. Could you please send them on to me and I will take them to the seamstress to have them stitched on.
